MEET SAMARA

How did I get here?

Born in New Mexico, raised east of the Sandias, I grew up watching my mom create magic with paint and paper. Her birds, deer, mountain lions, and horses weren't just art, they were acts of defiance against a world that told women to be practical, not passionate.

Then life happened. Career. Bills. The weight of "being responsible." I traded my brushes for hustle culture and convinced myself art was something I'd get back to someday.

My mom fought cancer for six years.

Ten years after losing her, I finally understood: Every day that I don't create is another day I betray the woman who taught me that making art isn't selfish...it's survival!

Now I paint at 5 AM, stealing hours before the world wakes up. Every brushstroke is freedom. Every piece honors the fierce woman who showed me that creating isn't optional, it's who we are.

This isn't just art. It's my reconnection to authenticity. It's my tribute to the woman my mom raised me to be. It's proof that it's never too late to choose passion alongside purpose.

I create for women like us. The ones who put passions on hold to build careers, who are ready to reclaim their wild creativity, who understand that success means more than just climbing ladders.

My mom's art still hangs in friends' and family's homes. Now I'm building something that honors her legacy while creating my own.

Welcome to the rebellion. It's time to live as boldly as we dream.
